Read Under the Big Top -Don B!
Our summer reading program will encourage kids and teens to think of reading as fun and
adventurous, and encourage all patrons to see the library as a place that offers a wide welcome.
By show of hands we will determine: 90% of the participants will have fun at the library, 50% of the participants will learn something new, 50% of the participants will want to learn more about the subject, 70% of the participants will want to come back to the library for more programs.
Don B. had the children on the edge of their seats with his magic and laughing at his commentary. We had a few rambunctious kids and when he started his performance, but they sat down and did not move until he was done. The attendees asked how he did tricks and he responded that they should learn from books at the library. He told them he learned how to first ride a unicycle from a book. Many of the parents and caregivers enjoyed the program just as much as the children. Heard many comments that we should get him again. By show of hands 100% of the participants had fun at the program, 95% of the participants learned something new, 75% of the participants wanted learn more about the subject, 100% of the participants will want to come to the library for more programs.
