Peter Bloedel, professor of Theater at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, utilizes a variety of impressive skills to entertain and encourage children of all ages. From card tricks to juggling to comedy and illusion, Peter amazes and amuses audiences and establishes a strong message that reading is important in every aspect of life.

This program will provide children with a high energy, family-friendly, positive performance that uses comedy, performing arts, magic and song to encourage reading and inspire young minds to learning more about the skills displayed by Peter and to form a habit of lifelong learning.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Most all who attended these performances were amazed by Mr. Bloedel’s talent and entertained by his skills and amusing delivery. He always encourages reading and utilizing the resources at the public libraries. Everyone was delighted that they could attend a quality performance in their own community.
