Project Overview
Peter Hoh led a Lego program focused on moving parts—gears, wheels, and levers. Kids made geared mechanisms and constructed a Lego object that could travel down a zip line. For ages 8-12. As part of the program, we showcased pictures of ziplines and gadgets used in Minnesota, in the past and the present, so participants could understand the context of these moving parts. Peter Hoh, a Science Museum of Minnesota Instructor and former 4th grade teacher, provided fun and educational challenges for kids to create with Legos.
