Thermal Cover Regeneration Project

Jack Pine, Spruce and other thermal cover species will be seeded on timber harvest sites that have been completed. Most seeding will be Jack Pine, but some sites may require other seed due to wetter soil conditions or other habitat conditions. Some sites may need site preparation, which could include scarification or burning before seeding. Other sites will require budcapping of seedlings to project plants from deer browsing.
