Once Upon a Reader programming
Young children and families will celebrate the first annual Once Upon a Reader program by participating in fun, interactive, and literacy rich programs at the library.
Families across Washington County participated in a variety of fun, interactive, and educational programs during our Moo-velous Month of Moo in celebration of the first annual Once Upon a Reader statewide reading program.
We had over 600 people attend our Moo! Cookies & Milk Storytime programs and 230 people attend the Traveling Trunk Shows with David LaRochelle and Mike Wohnoutka.
We handed out over 700 copies of the book Moo! to children and families, led hundreds of children on Moo! Scavenger Hunts and Moo! Storywalks around the library, and received several cute scrapbook entries documenting Cow’s adventures with families that brought her home.
