Participants are given the skills to learn a new art forms they can do in greater depth on their own at a later time.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Shibori students received educational history on this Japanese form of dying and stitching fabric to create one of a kind items. All students created a scarf which was hand stitched and dyed during class and then finished the washing process at home.

A basic watercolor class gave the opportunity to try different techniques such as wet-on-wet and dry brush. Two landscapes were completed by each participant.
