KFAI - "What In The Mix?"
What’s In The Mix” consists of four quarterly community conversations hosted and moderated by artists and/or cultural leaders from diverse communities and attended by community members. Each session of “What’s In The Mix?” features a live performance or presentation of a selected musician, writer, spoken-word artist or visual artist. Community engagement conversations are co-presented by 2-3 organizations specific to the historical topic or art form featured at each gathering. Each session of “What’s In The Mix” is recorded; posted on KFAI’s website as a webinar; and, where appropriate, segments of the conversations is featured on existing KFAI programming. Moderators and/or artists are prepared to explore “What’s In The Mix” of once separate yet currently intertwined Minnesotan facets of community life. Segments of the “What’s In The Mix?” conversation are also aired on KFAI’s culturally specific programs and on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.
