Nathan Hance - Land of 10,000 Tunes
Land of 10,000 Tunes: A journey through Minnesota?s Musical Masterpieces with Nate Hance was offered around the region. Hance led participants on a journey through the best of Minnesota?s musical landscape, exploring iconic works by the Andrews Sisters and Judy Garland, in addition to the state?s heritage through polkas, waltzes and marches. Hance also discussed Minnesota?s musical diversity through the last 60 years, including Bob Dylan, blues master Willie Murphy, Prince, and Owl City. It was an exciting hour of Minnesota music filled with variety, fun, and even a few virtuosic tricks. This program took place at 10 locations in the LARL region over 5 days from October 17 to October 21, 2016.
