Project Overview
This project includes the seeding of crop fields on four habitat easements totaling 93.5 acres and burning three habitat easements totaling 232 acres all in Big Stone County. All of the properties are permanently protected from being plowed up or having the wetlands drained by USFWS Habitat Easements. All seven sites are currently in need of seeding to restore grassland or prescribed burns to stimulate native prairie and set back tree invasion.
