Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Through this mentorship, student will learn to draw more realistically, create clearer depth through shading, and produce cleaner, sharper drawings through shading.Using a self-portrait and a landscape drawing at the start and finish of his mentorship, this student will seek feedback and critique from his mentor and his high school art teacher on his strengths and weaknesses in realism, shading, and clean lines.

Grantee was exposed to and gained skill in watercolor techniques, value range using markers, drawing from a combination of reference and imagination, digital drawing, and other techniques.
